Observatory Open House
Partial Solar Eclipse!

Time: 11:00am - 2:00pm
The next Queen’s Observatory Open House is a very special one as it is on the Partial Solar Eclipse happening on Saturday October 14th at 11:00am in Ellis Hall Auditorium at Queen’s University. The partial eclipse will take place around 12-2:30pm and reach maximum at 1:14pm.
Before the eclipse, we are very excited to feature a presentation by Livia Comeau, who is a Queen’s University Physics undergraduate student and has worked with the 2024 Eclipse outreach and planning committee this past summer. Her talk is titled “The Mid-Day Midnight Sky”
The presentation will be followed by observing the partial solar eclipse (weather permitting).

Cost: Free! Tickets will be provided at the door. No registration or RSVP is needed
