About the IPDC
The Integrated Project Delivery Centre (IPDC) brings together Canada’s engineering and technical expertise to support the design, fabrication, and assembly of major international scientific experiments over the coming decade.
The IPDC operates through a network of specialized hubs strategically located across Canada to best meet the needs of the research community. By coordinating resources and expertise nationwide, the Centre ensures that projects receive the right support at the right time.
Technical Expertise
The IPDC aims to have 18 technical staff across 8 Universities and research institutes. Their expertise includes: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, cryogenics and vacuum systems, and civil engineering.

The Centre is led by a Lead Engineer and guided by the Resource Allocation Committee (RAC) – a pan-Canadian prioritization board that regularly reviews project needs. This governance model ensures that all initiatives receive appropriate, sufficient, and dedicated resources when required.
Through its collaborative framework, the IPDC strengthens Canada’s capacity to contribute to world-leading research initiatives, fostering innovation, efficiency, and excellence in project delivery.
