Does your heart pound at the thought of a job interview? Do you get weak in the knees at the idea of networking with successful professionals? If so, this workshop is for you. In this 50-min session, attendees will learn strategies and tools to:
- Normalize anxiety in career-related situations
- Help students understand the biological and psychological process behind anxiety
- Expose students to a variety of techniques and approaches for responding to anxiety
- Help students begin to develop their personalized toolkit for handling anxiety
Whether you are an undergraduate, graduate student, postdoctoral fellow, staff, or faculty, you will find applicable insights in this event to bolster your career success!
Presenter: Josh Zettel is currently a career counsellor at Career Services (Queen’s University). Josh holds a Master’s in Counseling from Adler University in Chicago with a specialization in Sport and Health Psychology. He has experience working in a wide variety of work settings, connected with people from diverse backgrounds and can support you in identifying and achieving career aspirations that are meaningful to you.
