Identifying Dark Matter Through Multi-messenger Astronomy

The exploration of the universe through multi-messenger astronomy promises to revolutionize the searches for dark matter. The multi-messengers will allow us to explore the universe through combined information from electromagnetic radiation, gravitational waves, neutrinos and cosmic rays. Such different types of radiation can provide a variety of information about the nature of dark matter, carrying this information in a completely different way from each other.

In addition to this information, other subjects that can also be explored in the context of multi-messenger astronomy involve the formation and evolution of black holes, gamma-ray bursts, the study of relativistic jets, the collision of black holes with neutron stars, etc.

In this seminar we intend to exemplify several studies that can be performed with the combined information from multi-messengers in order to understand the nature of dark matter, especially considering some of the most powerful cosmic processes of the universe.
