HQP event
Location: Zoom / Stirling Hall, Room 501
Date: April 8, 2026
Time: 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Join us again on Wednesday, April 8, starting at 3 pm EST! During this session, we will be joined by Profs. Kristine Spekkens and Ken Clark. Prof. Spekkens will discuss policies and practices typical of large collaborations in astronomy, and ways early-career researchers can navigate them to leverage the advantages of large networks of collaborators while avoiding potential pitfalls. Prof. Clark will cover the opportunities of operating in scientific collaborations of small- to medium-sized. The necessity of both well-defined roles and the ability to excel will be discussed.
