Tony Noble
Professor, Canada Research Chair – Queen’s University
Tony is an experimental astroparticle physicist with research interests spanning astroparticle physics, solar neutrinos, and dark matter. He is the scientific director of the Arthur B. McDonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Research Institute (McDonald Institute), a past director of SNOLAB, and one of the leads for the particle astrophysics research group at Queen’s University. Tony is heavily involved with the PICO experiments at SNOLAB, which aim to detect the mysterious dark matter that appears to dominate the matter budget of the Universe.
