Please join the McDonald Institute at 10 am on May 30, 2019, in Kinesiology 100 (28 Division Street) to watch the day-long Young Persons’ Lecture Competition sponsored by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
We are excited to announce the participation of 10 students in the inaugural competition. Each student will give a 15-minute presentation on materials, minerals, mining, packaging, clay technology, or wood science-related subject. A panel of judges will select one individual as the Canadian finalist, and invite them to compete in the Young Persons’ World Lecture Competition held in October in London, UK.
