Nuggets, balls, and black holes: an overview of macroscopic dark matter
Abstract:
Dark matter could consist of large objects like quark nuggets, Fermi balls, or primordial black holes. I will discuss the landscape of these interesting scenarios, focusing in particular on the myriad ways we could potentially detect (or constrain) them, as well as the ways that these objects can be formed in the early universe.

Anupam Ray is a new postdoctoral fellow in the theory group at Queen’s University.
The McDonald Institute seminar will be held in Stirling 501. A Zoom link is also available and shared via email by the organizers. Please reach out to admin@mcdonaldinstitute.ca for access.
