Radioactive source and inner detector for the KDK experiment.

Prof. Di Stefano is an experimental astroparticle physicist with expertise in dark matter and nuclear physics. He is one of the Particle Astrophysics group leads at Queen’s University and is the principal investigator for the KDK experiment. Prof. Di Stefano also works on data analysis and data acquisition for liquid argon rare event searches such as DEAP-3600, DarkSide-20K, and ARGO in addition to research and development on cryogenic detectors and their applications
