Miriam is an astroparticle physicist with expertise in theory, phenomenology, data analysis, computing, and experiment hardware research and development. She is a member of the Arthur B. Mcdonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Research Institute (McDonald Institute) and the principal investor for both the SuperCDMS and MATHUSLA experiments at the University of Toronto. Both SuperCDMS and MATHUSLA are searching for particles beyond the standard model, with SuperCDMS searching for dark matter and MATHUSLA searching for long-lived particles.
