Avi Friedlander

Avi Friedlander

Avi Friedlander is a PhD candidate with Prof. Aaron Vincent at Queen’s University.

Avi is working on better understanding the impact different models of dark matter may have had early on in the universe. He started his PhD at Queen’s in 2017 after completing a MSc at McGill University.

I like that this work allows me to study and learn about lots of different areas such as particle physics, early universe cosmology, astrophysics and more! It can be a fun puzzle to piece together knowledge from different fields in order to find new answers.

Outside of doing research, Avi enjoys watching sports and reading about sports statistics.

If you want to know more about working with Aaron Vincent or being in the theoretical astroparticle physics group at Queen’s please feel free to contact Avi!
