Job description:
Applications are invited for MSc and PhD positions in theoretical astroparticle physics and phenomenology in the Department of Physics at the University of Alberta, to start in Fall 2024. Candidates with interests and/or experience in dark matter physics are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Nassim Bozorgnia on dark matter phenomenology. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary research and training environment, acquire expertise in theory, data analysis, and numerical methods, and become involved in collaborations with prominent scientists in astroparticle physics communities nationally and internationally.
